The Muslim Association of Virginia established on December 10, 1989
to provide an organization that would facilitate the needs of a growing
Muslim community in the area. Over the years we've grown and matured
as not only an organization, but as a community too. In summer 1988
we initiated praying in people's houses when we didn't have a place
of our own. In March 1990 we started renting Dale City Recreation
Center to hold our regular Friday prayers, Sunday Islamic School and
Eid prayers. |
