Islamophobia Conference 2006 website
This conference will be the largest International interaction since the publication of the Danish cartoons.
The conference takes place in Copenhagen, Denmark on Saturday 13th May 2006 at the Bella Center.
The Conference will be taking place, in Copenhagen, Denmark on 13th of
May 2006. The Conference is organised in response to the fury felt by the
Muslim communities internationally at the publication of derogatory images
of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH).
The conference will be aimed towards the European community including
Muslims and non Muslims and most vitally, the western media.
The conference will engage directly with the root of Islamophobia to
overcome ignorance and to address the lack of understanding and knowledge
about Islam. This conference will encourage mutual respect and
understanding for Islam and other religions, in order to attain a more
peaceful world.
Islamophobia, 'A dilemma in the West' is a step towards building bridges
between Muslims and Non Muslims.
This conference will be broadcast live on Islam Channel throughout Europe,
North and West Africa and Middle East. There will be live interaction
between the speakers and the audience and viewers worldwide
